Every week during the nation's Coronavirus Crisis, we are bringing you a virtual adventure at Walt Disney World.
Last week, you walked down Main Street, U.S.A., and took a left, and this week, you are in Adventureland!
Some optional things to do at home to set the tone for this adventure:
Make up a batch of dole whip
Burn a pineapple or coconut scented candle
Have a squirt gun or spray bottle filled with water and ready
As you cross the wooden bridge, through the tiki totems, you find yourself in a bright land shaded by palm trees. You hear the drums of all kinds... tiki drums and steel drums.
Above you, magic carpets fly through the air. Watch out! Those camels spit! (Squirt yourself or your friend with the squirt gun... blame it on a camel).
Time to enjoy at Walt Disney classic in the Enchanted Tiki Room!
As you exit the Enchanted Tiki Room, you pass by Aloha Isle, original home of the Walt Disney World dole whip. Maybe you want to enjoy one before you proceed.
Time to journey down to the dock for a cruise of the jungle with your brave skipper, on Jungle Cruise.
A little further down the path, you find Pirates of the Caribbean.
After exiting Pirates, you decide to wait a bit for Captain Jack Sparrow to show up and show everyone how to be a pirate. You find a nice bench and have a seat in the sun, enjoying the area music until the showtime.
Yo ho, yo ho a Pirate's life for me! Something is happening...
As Captain Jack leaves, you know it's time to move on to other lands in the Magic Kingdom. We hope you've had a great time in Adventureland this week.
We plan to continue our tour of the Magic Kingdom in the coming weeks. Where should we go next? What attractions do you want to see? Would people be interested in a post dedicated to retired attractions as well? Let us know what can make you happy and fill your Disney cravings! Until next time...
